A French Transitional period bedroom suite dated to a drawer bottom 1926. A very rare suite of exceptional quality craftsmanship. Set against a background of Macassar veneers, wholly mahogany lined and inlaid cartouches of maple, ebony, kingwood and boxwood to the uppermost parts. A very unusual combination of a triple wardrobe, double wardrobe and single wardrobe that is designed to sit directly alongside the double wardrobe which has the affect of appearing to be a pair of triple wardrobes. An obvious sign that this suite was a special commission. The illuminated dressing table and tallboy are like a work of art in both design and quality absolutely outstanding and also includes a stool. Aside from one or two very minor imperfections the condition is exceptionally good.
